How did you break into JPMorgan Chase?

Hi everyone,

I’d love to hear your story. If you work at JPMorgan Chase, how did you get your foot in the door?

I’ve been networking, tailoring my resume for each role, highlighting my transferable skills, and preparing extensively for every interview. I’ve made it to the final and near-final rounds multiple times, but I haven’t been able to get across the finish line yet.

If there are any hiring managers, recruiters, or employees here who would be willing to share advice, review my resume, or even spend 15–20 minutes on a call to coach me, I’d be incredibly grateful. I’m always open to feedback and want to understand what I can do better.

My goal is to build a long-term career at JPMorgan, and I’m committed to doing whatever it takes to get there.

Thank you in advance to anyone willing to help—I truly appreciate it

I need help getting a job,

Hi everyone, Looking for Advice on Breaking into JPMorgan Chase

I’m hoping someone here can offer some advice or point me in the right direction.

I have 6+ years of experience in business operations, project management, and strategic operations, along with an MBA. Over the past several months, I’ve interviewed for multiple roles at JPMorgan Chase and made it to the final or near-final rounds more than once. The feedback has consistently been positive, but each time the position ultimately went to an internal candidate.

I’ve now been unemployed for a few months, and while I continue applying and networking every day, I’m starting to feel stuck. JPMorgan is where I genuinely want to build my career, and I’m determined to keep trying.

If anyone has advice on improving my chances, knows of teams that are hiring, or would be willing to refer me for an operations, business management, project management, or Chief of Staff-type role, I would be incredibly grateful.

I’m based in Delaware (about two hours from New York City), open to relocating, and most recently worked for an investment firm in Pennsylvania.

Thank you to anyone willing to help or offer guidance—I truly appreciate it.
