The real estate market is in shambles right now, but I've talked to a lot of people who are in the same boat as me. My insurance is going up hundreds of dollars this year (went up the same last year too) even though we didn't have any damages or really bad weather in my area for the past few years. The letter from the insurance company said it was cause of inflation, floods, and extreme weather.

I'm really worried. My kids love their school. My wife is really happy at her job. The reality is that with all the rising costs, I don't see how we can stay in our home.

Other people have to be going through the same thing right?

As many retirees are leaving FL as coming in at this point. The real estate market is getting crushed and home insurance premiums seem to only get more and more expensive. Something's got to give right?
