tesla or genie (lvl 8)

all of my legednarys are lvl 7 no talents i was running genie trapper dryad harequin prestiess and i got pwned horriblly ;-; my main deck is tesla trapper preistess harequin dryad and iv lost alot recently with that as well i use captain as hero

does the artillery damage type bypass armor or does it also have to hve magic dmg?
