So I am a 603 with no directs. There is a 602 in my org chart that is a rock star, I mean seriously. She was promoted to basically a senior 602 a year ago. I keep bringing her name up for a 603 promotion, but am told they need to be in the senior 602 role for two years before eligible for promotion. Is this true? Do orgs still do off cycle promotions? I am terrified of losing her and she had made more than enough impact to get to the next level. Any thoughts from those who have some more knowledge is appreciated!
