Solo dev (not much experience) made a multiplayer action RPG in ~2 months with AI-assisted coding — looking for honest feedback
Hey everyone,
I've been working on Last Phase, a multiplayer 3d action RPG with dungeons, boss fights, and PvP arenas, set in a strange shared world I'd rather let you discover for yourselves.
A bit of context so you know what you're looking at: I'm a solo developer without much prior experience, and I've been using AI tools to help me write code. Project started in mid-May, so it's been a fast, learn-as-I-go process. I want to be upfront about that rather than pretend otherwise.
It's currently a vertical slice, free to play, Windows only.

What's in right now:
- Shared online hub with other players
- A dungeon run with a boss fight and loot
- PvP arena
- Party system (dungeons with friends)
- Two classes (Warrior/Mage), each with 3 gear sets, abilities and a hotbar
- A rotating world zone with its own quest chain
- A faction system with its own currency, vendors, and reputation
- Dual currency (gold + faction currency)
- In-game chat
I'm genuinely looking for honest opinions, not just "nice job" comments:
- Does the combat feel good, or clunky?
- Does the atmosphere/setting grab you, or does it feel generic?
- Anything that made you quit playing early?
- Given the timeframe and my experience level, does the scope feel reasonable, or am I overreaching?
Bugs and rough edges are expected — it's early — but I'd rather know what's not working than not hear it. Thanks for reading!
