Pretty proud of this center cut serloin I made
3 hours basic marinade to maintain juiciness plus a homemade coffee ground dry rub after. Cooked to internal temp of 125. Let me know what you think!

What’s up y’all, I’ve got a ninja wood fire, a treager wood ridge and a small charcoal grill to work with. I like cooking with alcohol based things for interesting flavors. Someone left a couple ciders at my house and I don’t really like drinking those. I normally use cider for pork but this one is a flavored cider so I wanted to get some creative suggestions on what meat, seasoning and methods y’all would try.
The ciders in question are Blake’s triple berry Jam, definitely on the sweeter side with a lot of berry flavor, and western cider fat robin which is a very tart flathead cherry cider. I prefer grilling or smoking but I’m always down for a good oven or stove top recipe too!
A friend of mine asked if I had any pictures of my time in, and as I’m showing him the old photos I just see the shape I’m in at that time and wondering how the fuck I got so fat and nasty. I keep telling my self I’m gonna go back to the gym and get at least close to where I used to be, but with the kid and the job I just can’t seem to find time. I wanna be war fighting fit again but I just can seem to motivate myself to do it anymore.
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to put some positivity out there for all of you. I recognize I’ve been very lucky with this first baby, she has been *mostly* an absolute dream. At 14 months old the longest sleep regression she has had was less than a week. The hardest part of having a new baby for me was getting her to finish a bottle when she was around 4 months old and being worried she wasn’t getting enough nutrients. We are entering the toddler phase right now so we shall see what happens in the coming year. But this post is really for all of the guys filled with anxiety about their child being born soon. To all of you I say: you don’t know what you are getting, follow the hope for the best prepare for the worst motto and you will be okay. I spent the 8 months after we found out stressing the fuck out, I got a new job so I could be more available, we moved to a house that was significantly cheaper in rent with more space (albeit a farther drive from work or anything really) sold one car for money and kept the other(the new job gave me a company vehicle)… I went the whole 9 in prep. And while I’ve had my moments of zero sleep for a week or more (the more was extenuating circumstances) I e loved every moment of it. Some of you will have it so much worse, and some of you won’t. Just make sure you lay out plans, expect them to go to shit, then rework them off of the frame work you’ve already set out for yourself. It won’t be easy, it’s not meant to be, but you can do this and you will be amazing fathers as long as you try your best.
