Hello guys,

A few years ago, I was willing to do an oci card. I don't know about other countries but in France this is a total mess and a scam. The process is entirely treated by VFS Global and it's almost impossible to do the steps only with them. Every NRI I know in France was force to use another company and pay more.
I've read the documentation multiple times and get all the documents needed but it's impossible to do the steps on your own. It's like a full scam where you HAVE to rely on some dirty company. I tried to only speak with VFS Global but they never answer email or phone. If they answer, they only talk gibberish.

So I quit trying and took the e-visa every time I went to India. The process is very easy and I don't need anyone to do it.

Does the process of having an e-oci is easier ? Or is it the exact same ?

Anyone succeed having an oci card in France without relying on some scammers ?

It's truly a shame. No wonder why people don't read anymore and vote for f*cking actors. Just to compare with another capital city like London : 325 libraries. Paris : 57 libraries.

People don't take buses or cab to study or borrow books from the library, they can walk 10 minutes and they will find an open library. Many books for children and teenagers not just exam books.

Keep opening restaurants in every single corner and let's be dumber than ever.

I wanted to learn Tirukkural and went to Chennai book fair in January to pick a good version and have the opportunity to look at the content. In fact, I was searching for a version with full explanation of the verses meaning vocabulary + grammar + sandhi.

I found none... How is that possible ? A novice like me can never learn without full explanation. I picked one with multiple translations and commentaries in Tamil but it's not beginner friendly. G.U Pope's English is quite sophisticated and Parimelazhagar urai is difficult to understand (honestly I feel like it needs it's own urai).

I can understand the meaning thanks to Keerthi's vilakkam but I need to understand the original verses. is there any website or book in which the Sandhi is decomposed and each word has its meaning ? I've seen many examples in TN textbooks for example which were perfect.
