I have insulinoma
I was in the hospital for a month because of life threatening situations, glucosa IVs at night, constant eating during the day. It’s funny to say that a month ago I didn’t even have glucose meter and went about my day without putting much thought into it, until the ambulance called by my mom who didn’t hear from me saved my life. My sugar level was 22, they destroyed the door to get in and found me in a sitting position just staring at a wall without reacting to any external stimuli. That’s how I learned I have insulinoma, up to this day I can’t believe my luck to even be alive. Nowadays I measure my sugar regularly, I have a sensor, I eat when it hits 70, there are days when I have to eat every hour but I know if I don’t eat, I’ll die.
