Just looking to see if anyone has some experience with a similar situation I may be running in to.

I was looking to put wheel spacers on my car, and I bought a set of 7mm/15mm for the front and rear respectively. My understanding is that the 996.1 generally came with 18x7.5 ET50 fronts, but I have a set of 996.2 wheels that are 18x8 ET50 on there now.

I fitted up the front spacers on the car, but it looks like it may rub the wheel well liners at full lock. I would just put the car on the ground and test it, but I have the passenger side’s suspension disassembled currently.

Anyone else running spacers without issues on 8” wide wheels on a 996.1?

Theres something that just feels “missing” or “incomplete” about my dining area. My initial thought was that I need a credenza or sideboard for the long wall, but I don’t have enough room between the table and wall to realistically fit anything. The table placement is somewhat anchored by a rectangular pattern in the wood floor.

Maybe I just need more art or a larger sized paining for the wall? Maybe a painted accent wall would help shore up the space? The arc lamp will eventually move once I find a chandelier that I like. Maybe if the arc lamp moves I can put in a corner cabinet?

I just need a fresh perspective.

I see a lot of comments about adding a rug and the painting.

- I'll get a rug if you come over and clean it weekly. Neither my wife nor I want to deal with cleaning a rug on a weekly basis.

- The painting is definitely too small and/or in the wrong place. As far as the height of the painting, the center of the painting is about 60" off of the floor. It might be a few inches too tall, but it isn't as tall as you're thinking. The wall is only about 7.5' tall where it meets the ceiling. It doesn't look as r/TVTooHigh in person as it does in the photo.

Other than that, I think a lot of the comments about adding more color and lightening up the space are pretty spot on. Thank you to those of you who made some AI mockups of the space. It really helps see what the space would look like.
