First real attempt at artistic photography of one of my cats (critiques welcome!)

I saw this bug when I was cleaning my dorm room to move out for the summer. The curly antennae-like protrusions caught my eye, and I quickly realized I have no idea what kind of bug it was.
To potentially help with species identification, this photo was taken in Portland, Oregon. Not sure how much that helps given the bug could have been there for who knows how long.
On the off-chance that it's not a good bug to see in a dorm room, I would love to know what it may be so I can alert the people who manage the residence halls if needed.
I am certainly no entomologist, but my best guess is it's a queen ant, as this bug was a very dark black and appeared to have wings (~ 1cm long), and that lines up well with ones I’ve seen in the past. Probably not the best sign for a dorm room. 😅
