I think I've been illegally unoaid
Hi.
I'm currently working at a fast food restaurant, and have been for a month. I've come to a realization. The mandatory online training I've been doing, I have been doing on my own time. I looked into it and realized the law says any mandatory training must be paid - whether I do it on site or at home. I've looked into my pay stub and realized I indeed wasn't paid for this training time.
I'm unsure if I should go to one of my managers and somehow approach this, since I'm in the probation period and I'm worried if I bring it up, I may be fired. I remember one manager telling me I specifically had to do the online courses at home.
So what should I approximately do? Drop it, leave it until I leave probation, go for it, or was I mistaken on how I interpreted the law?
