It’s ridiculous how many phishing emails I receive from random other students.

I’m sure GA Tech has some defenses in place to prevent this, but I’m still receiving at least one blatantly malicious email every week.

There’s no reason a student should be able to send mass emails to other students, let alone send a blatantly malicious email. We shouldn’t have to rely on people deleting and reporting these emails as much as it seems we are. The behavior is relatively easy to detect and block before users even receive the malicious email in most cases.

Countless organizations of similar target value with far less resources than GA Tech have far better phishing defenses.
