How long is too long for a chapter?

I normally like to land around 5k words but occasionally will get to 7 or 8k words if the narrative fits.

The current draft of the last chapter of my book is getting a bit longer than I expected though. Which brings me to the question:

How long is too long for a chapter? Even if the narrative is strong and driving

Dialogue strategies with multiple languages

Please weigh in with any thoughts!

My work in progress is an epic fantasy with several languages spoken by various characters. The primary POV and language is "A". When characters are speaking in languages that aren't "A" I had initially thought to write their dialogue in italics to indicate it is translated. This works decently in book 1 as the POV is firmly following one character and 99% of dialogue is language "A".

However in the rest of the series, the cast grows and the other primary language "B" is featured in a significant number of scenes and chapters.

Should I keep my pattern or take a different approach to this issue? I would prefer to avoid cluttering the dialogue sections with "he said in B" or "she said in A"

YA Epic Fantasy violence

What are the limits for violence when writing within YA fantasy?

I want to stay within the genre, but push the savagery of some violent acts. In a few fighting sequences I have disembowelment described but I'm reading that may be too much.

What are your thoughts?

Writing a Graphic Novel

I have a collection of short stories that I'm considering publishing as a written anthology, and having the individual short stories available as well, but they may be too short to bother making paperback copies.

I think it might be a better idea to produce the individual short stories as graphic novels but don't have any experience in that medium. I would need to outsource the artwork and have no interest in cheating with AI

Does anyone know of any resources they might recommend?
