Actual training

I need hands on practice with juniper switching and routing, without an instructor. There are plenty of courses on HPE, but the only ones that have labs are $2-4k. All I need is a lab environment. Are there any virtual lab programs out there? Anything similar to ciscos PT?

Actual training..

I've been in this field about 8 years now and am at the point where I need to get my certs up. I have a Juniper account through my work and a cisco learning account. This is a two part question.

  1. I see no options to access amy form of a lab on juniper HPE, everything that includes a lab is $2k-$4k for a 3 day online course, which Im sure will be led by someone with a heavy accent.. Always helpful when trying to learn. So are there any options of virtual juniper labs out there? Something similar to packet tracer where I can actually practice and not just listen to some guy.

  2. For those who are self-taught, whats your method? I'm primarily a hands-on learner and pick things up quick so long as I can practice. Packet tracer is fine for cisco, but I really need juniper routing practice. Any advice?

Growth Points in-raid

Im doing a side quest atm but have noticed this number change with each quest. What does "Growth Points 0/64" mean exactly? Is that the number of points I can earn on this mission?

Just go Melee..

I am back to this sub after 58hrs of gameplay, late chapter 5, and I am telling you right now magic is nearly useless in late game. The spells take way too long to fire off, leaving you exposed, IMMOBILE, and completely vulnerable (oh and enemies stagger you btw). Double whammy is you were foolish enough to think wearing robes was a good Idea (like me) so every enemy just MOLLY whaps you into a stagger before you can get a spell off. On the other hand 3 quick swings of a mediocre sword will net you the same damage as a high level spell, with the added bonus of causing stagger and attacking fast enough to dodge if needed. Its not close. Its not up for debate. I have fooled myself long enough in this game trying my best to make Magic work. It doesn't. Do not waste your time trying to be a mage. I highly reccomend hybrid or straight up melee. Even when fighting an enemy with an opposing damage type to your spells, again you have no time to use spells before you get ran down.

"But cant you just outplay the enemies? Skill issue?"

You can absolutely spend 3-5 minutes kiting if that sounds fun(it isnt) OR you can melee them 3 times and be done in seconds. Its a joke how stark the difference is. Not to mention you become a potion whore reliant on quick healing, which isn't easy to come by.

Youre just fucked, give it up. Anyone who says otherwise is just comfortable spending far too long on any given fight.

The Almanac / Bugged?

So Ive spoken to Talas already, and from what im seeing online, I need to speak to Milten. Trouble is Milten is no where to be found at the old camp. Does he move around? Am I missing something here or is this quest bugged?

EDIT: Book found in the Black Goblin Cave, no NPCs were needed to find it

Fire Mages Circle

I know I need to speak to the head fire mage. Grey hair dude. The problem is I cant set foot inside the fire temple without being threatened to leave. Meanwhile, every tutorial I look up, buddy just walks right in no problem. Ive not attacked anyone, or pissed them off via dialogue. What am I doing wrong? Is there some trick to speaking with this giy?
