Success stories of both eyes same day or same week

Hi All I’ve been snooping around here for probably a year putting off surgery due to fear.

I am -11 in the bad eye and -7.75 in the good eye. The last surgeon I spoke with wants to do them in the same week I’m just looking for success stories.

I still have no idea whether I will go for intermediate or distance, I do know I cannot handle mono vision as I have vertigo almost daily.

My concern obviously is the difference in prescription in between surgeries if I delay surgery. I have not worn contacts in over 25 years although I know that would be the better option if I delay surgery in the non-corrected Eye

I guess I’m just looking for people who are happy they got it over with, thanks for any input

Minimonovision

I’m really struggling to understand all the different terms and words used in regards to cataracts and surgery and lenses.

That being said I am wondering if what I’m experiencing right now is similar to monovision

My left eye, the bad eye is at -11 and with glasses can only get to 20/40 vision. My right eye is -7.75

Although the bad guy has full blurriness even with glasses is that the concept or am I completely off base?

Lense type

I am wondering if people are going to clinics that offer different name brands of lenses?

The surgeon I was considering only uses one brand for monofocal and it seems to be one no one has heard of or used very often

Softec - any thoughts on this?

Heart skips when I sniff 😵‍💫

Anyone else? These things are
Exhausting me. I’ve had for over 35 years and I’m in a flare up right now. Everytime I sniff, lay down, roll over, bend - ugh.
