Did I destroy my new GPU ?
Was building my new PC after waiting for months. Didn't sleep last night and taking medications (brain fog).
I plugged the 90° degree 12V-2x6 cable in my GPU. I wasn't thinking and I guess seeing the cablemods 90° cable regularly just made me do that on "auto mode". I was about to plug the other end to the PSU and I'm like "Hold on that's the GPU side of the cable" and I suddenly remembered this a corsair shift PSU.
I tried unplugging it but this fucker didn't want to come out. Had to use a screwdriver and a plier to "bruteforce" it out of the GPU. The cable is fucked (don't really care about that) but I don't know about the GPU. It seems fine and not fine at the same time (all the pins are straight but one has another piece of metal showing but I don't know what it is and maybe it's normal). But the fact that I couldn't unplug it so easily makes me think I destroyed it.
Am I fucked ? Can this be repaired ? I don't want to think constantly about whether or not it's gonna melt or catch fire...
