I’m starting to research getting a small dog, but I know many places are just using puppy mills. I’ve had mixed results with rescues in the past and I’m looking for a puppy.

I don’t necessarily have a specific breed in mind, just want a small dog to be a companion for adventures. There might be puppy shoes involved.

So where are you guys getting your pups? I’m in the tri valley but can travel a bit.
