Capgemini interview completed one month ago. Initially HR discussion happened around 11 LPA and everything looked positive, but later HR said the project budget is around 8.5–9 LPA and the process got delayed due to client/project approval. I’m now okay to proceed with 9 LPA. HR is still responding and saying update pending. Is this normal in Capgemini? Any similar experiences?

I recently attended an interview at Capgemini. Here is my situation:
Interview completed on April 9
HR discussion happened on April 13
Salary was discussed (around 11 LPA, I agreed to proceed)
HR said they will get back with an update
Since then:
It has been more than 2 weeks
I followed up 3 times via call
Every time HR says: “Yet to receive update, will update you shortly”
No rejection, but no confirmation either
Now I’m confused and a bit stressed.
My questions:
Is this normal at Capgemini after HR discussion?
Does this usually mean offer is still possible, or is it a silent rejection?
Has anyone experienced similar delay and still received an offer?
Should I keep waiting or move on completely?
I would really appreciate honest insights from people who have gone through similar situations.
