Photo of my Grandpa

Photo of my Grandpa

Hi! My Aunt and I are hoping someone can help us with a photo of my Grandpa that has been faded from being in the sun. My Grandma had it in her sunroom opposite a wall of windows and you can hardly make my Grandpa out anymore. Any tips, tricks, or points in the right direction are appreciated. Thank you!

Downtown Parking Question

My husband and I went to brunch at Young Cardinal today and we parked on 4th Street. There’s a sign there that has the pay to park information but it also says 2-hour Public Parking Monday-Friday 8-5. We assumed because it was a Thursday at 11am we didn’t need to pay because it said Public Parking and we were within the date and time range and we weren’t going to be there for over 2 hours. Anyway we came out of Young Cardinal and we had a ticket. It’s only $30 so I’m just going to pay it but that’s confusing, right? Or are we just dumb?

Negotiating Hours for PT

Hi! I had an interview this past Friday that went extremely well and I’m 90% sure I’m going to get an offer this week. It’s for a part time position at our local YMCA. The only drawback is that the shift it’s for is evenings. I can make that work for a while but eventually I am going to need to transition to days when it becomes available for childcare. My daughter’s daycare closes at 5 and the shift is 4-8 during the week and 4-9 on Saturday’s. They said I could use their daycare in the evenings but their daycare is only open 5-8. My family can pick my daughter up and drop her off to me but this isn’t a long term plan. I really want this job so I don’t want to turn it down because of the hours, is there a way to mention that the hours are fine but as soon as a day shift position opens I need it, or is that going to blow my chance?
