Travel agent rates

Hi Everyone,
I’m a travel agent and frequently participate in this subreddit to (hopefully) provide valuable insight to people planning trips to French Polynesia. I always encourage people to compare rates via Costco, Amex and a TA. Many people like to do the planning themselves and are hesitant to reach out to a travel agent or don’t know how to go about finding one.
I now have a client facing booking portal that can be used to compare rates and self book. Most of our partner promotions show up on the portal so it’s an easy way to check rates at multiple hotels at one time. The rates listed are direct booking rates so you will still earn loyalty points at participating hotels and any status perks will apply.
The portal is private but if anyone would like access to it, just shoot me a message and I will send you the link.

Amawaterways Bonus Question

For those of you with Amex's who typically book with a travel agent, have you ever had an Amex spending bonus applied to a travel agent booking? The reservation will be made directly with Amawaterways by a registered travel agent (but not an employee of AMA) and all charges will be made directly by Amawaterways.

It looks like as long as the charges are from AMA, the booking should qualify.

"Offer valid for onboard spend and cruise reservations booked with AmaWaterways online at US website [amawaterways.com](https://amawaterways.com/), by calling the US reservation phone line 1-800-626-0126, or through an AmaWaterways travel adviser between 6/01/26 and 11/18/2026. Excludes electronic gift cards. The Offer is only valid for bookings paid for by 11/18/2026, however the travel can occur after the end date for the Offer, provided that the booking was paid for within the applicable Offer period.

Eligible Card Members will earn 10 additional Membership Rewards® points for each dollar spent, up to 50,000 points, on qualifying purchases on their eligible Card.

Purchases must be made in USD, and offer is only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries."
