Do translation companies share interpretator information with each other?
The company called me a month ago and asked me to be online for an hour and will give me GBP 5. I told them it is lower than minimum wage and should be higher, they just replied to me that they cannot use me enough when there is no call coming in, so I refused their offer and never accept any on-demand call ever since.
A few days ago, I found out they sneaked in some on-demand calls when I already set myself unavailable for any on-demand.
Later on, I found out that they charged their client hourly while they only paid the interpreter by minute for on-demand calls.
