FERS Retirement. No where near age 62 or 65. Medicare Part D Question

I'm only 59 so I'm getting FERS retirement and the FERS supplement. I took my FEHB into retirement for me and my still working spouse.

I know when I will need to apply for SSA retirement to start the month after the month I turn age 62 since my day of birth is not the first or second. FERS supplement will stop with the month after the month I turn age 62, but SSA retirement will pick up that month. Ex: Turn 62 in May, last Supplement payment is June, SSA starts in June first payment in August.

My question is this, since I have FEHB, when I turn age 65 they will convert to the secondary payer for what Medicare doesn't cover, do I need a Part D plan?

I'm sure someone out there has had this situation before. I'm just getting my ducks in a row to know what to expect and sadly some of my ducks are drunk in a ditch and are having trouble getting out. 😄

Thanks.

What does everyone think?

Ok. Found a YouTube video on how to make the little chippy things. Instead of making each one separately, like the video was doing, I made one and made a it symbol. This worked great since I wanted to manipulate all three at the same time. Just learning the software. What are your thoughts? Be kind. 😄

MacOS 27, Time Capsule format deprecation, and External NAS

This might get long really fast.

I currently have a Time Capsule that is working great, 2TB. It's been doing backups a long time. With MacOS 27 basically deprecating the use of the capsule for Time Machine backups, I want to do the following:

  1. Take the drive out of the capsule
  2. Put the drive into just a standard NAS drive enclosure
  3. Reformat the drive to a format MacOS 27 likes
  4. Connect to the network using the SMB protocol
  5. Use the newly formatted drive as a Time Machine destination for my laptops and a Mac Mini

Here are the questions that come up:

  1. Has anyone else tried this and did it work?
  2. What size (3.5 or 2.5) drive is in the Capsule?
  3. Where can I get a NAS enclosure on the cheap that will work just fine?

I've seen some NAS enclosures but I really don't want to pay $200 for a simple enclosure just to be able to plug into my network.

I'm coming to the community to ask any advice on what others have done in this situation.

Thanks.

Needing some help for Print on Demand High Visibility in Cotton

I know there are a lot of print on demand places on the internet and I've checked out many. I'm looking for a cheap print on demand company that can print on high visibility cotton t-shirts that only need a few t-shirts. It's a small mom & pop mowing company and only needs like 5 shirts. They only work on weekends so it's not a big operation, just 3 people. What I'm finding is one shirt would run approximately $30 USD.

I'm hoping someone with more experience in POD companies might know of one that is cheaper.

Thanks.

How can this be done in Affinity?

I've watched the video below a few times trying to figure out the steps taken to see what I can do in Affinity 3. Anyone know what they did the duplicate in Illustrator in Affinity. Power duplicate is a great feature, but doesn't quite do it.

It seems so simple.
