Audiobook for uninterested reader

My son (14), isn’t very interested in reading, but when we went away for a short trip, I got an audiobook to listen to during the drive and at night, which he seemed to enjoy.

We listened to The Nameless by Stuart White, a dystopian book.

He’s quite thoughtful and a bit of a SJW, enjoys rpg, but not interested in LitRPG. Likes watching YouTube vids about facts and how things work, as well as moral dilemma ones.

I was wondering about something Steampunky, but not sure.

Any suggestions please.

Thanks

Double pointed sewing needles or pins

I am planning on making a foam costume for someone, using their materials, and need to pin the foam in something sturdy so that it is in the air with space for the heated wire cutter that I am using.

At the moment we are using long dress making/happens attached to some corks to create the sturdy space needed but we have to remove the pins from the corks every time we do a new piece.

It would be really good if we could use double pointed pins that have a cap on one end so that we can just push the template onto the pointy end and then placed a cap over it to keep the template in place.

Does anyone know if double pointed sharp needles for sewing or hat pins actually exist and if so, where could I get them from?

I have attached a photo giving a rough idea of what I’m talking about, this is not the finished product, as we are testing ideas at the moment.

Thank you.
