There is an Indycar race downtown this weekend. I’m trying to post the map but I can’t get it to work…. But it is on the actual streets of DC and goes around the White House and capital. There is activity Saturday and Sunday with the main race green flag at 1 on Sunday. There will be lots of roads shut down and heavy foot traffic in the area so if you are traveling in you’re going to need extra time!

Will be in town in about a month and am looking for food around Frist.... of course I see Assembly Food Hall with a million options - rather then browse 30+ menus i thought i'de see if anyone knows off the top of their head. I have an autistic son who eats very limited food - anyone know of a place in there with good, but "normal" yellow cheddar mac and cheese OR a pizza place? The only place I've seen so far with pizza would be too "fancy" for him.

...or if anyone knows a good pizza place around Frist we'll just go there instead

Hey guys, my family will be in the area for the upcoming Indycar race in Lebanon and are looking for activity suggestions.... anyone want to help me out ? We are a family of 4 with two teens, will be staying in Mt. Juliet and the race is in Lebanon. We plan to do the bus tour through downtown areas but I'm trying to see if there is anything to do more near the track or hotel. So far I'm seeing Andrew Jacksons house and Fiddlers Grove? Is that fun? For the record we arent to into country music. TIA!

Did they give out the little papers/mini poster thing that they gave out at the first match, Spirit Fest etc? We got into a minor car accident on the way to the game and only arrived just after kick off instead of when gates opened so if they gave anything away we couldnt get it 😞 My daughter was bummed because she uses them to decorate her walls as a memento from each game we go to. If anyone has any idea how i could get one (if they had them this time) please let me know!

Considering going to the game Wednesday (oops) but the weather is not looking great.... I dont mind rain but can anyone tell me if you're in club or field level if you can wait out a thunderstorm in the club or if you have to go all the way out of there? Just curious. Also does the club level have a little roof over top of the seats? It kind of looks like they do but I can't tell for sure
