how to become a pharmacist

soooo ill keep it short, i am a 21 year old certified pharmacy technician who became certified in april of this year, I have been in pharmacy the last 2 years going on three in august, I have a passion for the field , I want to become a pharmacist one day but have no idea how to go about it as I went to college and got a bachelors in business administration and management and graduated back in december 2025. I have been told I can complete the pre-reqs needed first before applying for any school but can anyone shed light on the route to take ? I know pharmacy school is expensive as I have been told by many pharmacists but its something I really can see myself doing career wise. what can I do to pursue this ? advice is appreciated please. Any tuition help suggestions or places i can do my pre-reqs also is appreciated, I have did research but its confusing.

so recently I left a cvs pharmacy as a pharmacy tech do to having issues with a pharmacist who liked to pick and choose when the rules applied to her employees. tried transfering befoe quitting but the pharmacist kept making excuses to not do the transfer. I ended up quitting but had picked up shifts in another store closer to me when I was still employed and worked with another pharmacist who was the sweetest thing ever.

Tried asking if it was possible to get hired in her store after quitting but she said she tried to advocate for me but was told no by the people above her.

called corporate and they said I am rehirable and don't understand why I was told that.

Is it possible the DL is the one not approving me to get hired at another CVS Pharmacy in my area due to past issues with a pharmacist from my old store ?

* I didn't bother even applying after being told by the pharmacist who's store I wanted to transfer too, that she was told no do not sure if other stores in my area would even take me.*

I also don't want this to mess up my potential chances at other pharmacies due to working with two other pharmacists before her who know my work ethic and how hard of a worker I am. recently applied for their competitor in which the pharmacy manager told me she would give the old cvs location I was at, a call.

is it possible to be blacklisted because of one bad experience from that cvs in comparison to applying to other pharmacies ? I am certified and want to continue being a tech I just know I wasn't going to be able to grow at her store any longer due to recurrent issues and decided quitting would be the best thing due to not being able to transfer because of her as well.
