What's the best laptop right now for students vs creatives vs everyday use?

Curious what people are actually buying/recommending in 2026. I keep seeing ThinkPad/EliteBook recommended for durability, but what about for video editing or design work — is it still worth getting a Mac, or are there PC options that hold up?
