I found... A "thing"... in the youtube russian fanbase of Supreme Commander. I believe this is the first time I ever seen someone use a RTS game to do a "weird" webseries.

It's after the second video that things start to get really "weird", >!like 4th wall breaking meta "weird". !<

So a bit of backstory: I stumbled upon this thing recently and I'm baffled I did, this channel doesn't even have a thousand subs and the most viewed video is part of this webseries and THAT has barely 3K views.

Despite that, this channel and this thing grabbed my interest. I checked this channel and saw there are also "meme" videos of SupCom FAF, so the one making this clearly is a fan doing this out of his passion for the game.

Even so, this "My Story" playlist is just so... Odd, like I just stumbled upon an >!ARG!<. Which is insane because this is SUPCOM we are talking about here. The words "Supreme Commander" and >!"ARG"!< weren't supposed to be in the same sentence, EVER.

But here we are.

I'll give Katsu-FAF (the username of this channel) credit, the camera work and the editing are really good here, really cinematics views even. However I don't know how I can tell you about the "plot" apart of >!there's a lot of UEF ACU SUFFERING and mental illness here, with a bit of videogame self awareness horror.!<

This is still getting new videos and the channel is rather active so I decided to share this with the subreddit to see what you think about this oddity I found.

Personally I think it does fit his content and it'd be neat to hear more people talking about this game

I had an argument with a friend about V1 being dropped in a Supreme Commander battlefield while an ACU arrived in Ultrakill's hell and it ended up looking like this: (it started because I said both are "Supreme Machines")

First of all: None of the Supreme Commander units have blood inside them (except the ACU's head if its piloted) so V1 can't heal by attacking them because they don't bleed. While an ACU and it's armies can self repair without using blood, that alone is enough to put pressure on V1 due to his nature as a glass cannon.

Second of all: Everysingle Supreme Commander unit is bigger than all Ultrakill enemies, only exceptions are bosses like the Earthmover and the Corpse of King Minos. This is also a disadvantage for those because ACU armies are versatile and adaptable to the point they can counter them effectively (Air Unit spam or Artillery spam or Experimental Unit spam or Nuke spam).

Third of all: It won't matter how many units V1 destroys, as long the ACU is standing then its pointless as there will be more coming. The same applies in the other front, even if a single Earthmover shot destroys an army and base at the same time there will be anothers to replace it in no time.

Fourth of all: Can V1 parry nukes?

I like both games if you're wondering.
