I just got my Canadian passport today. I need to be in India on October 21st for an event. Not sure if the best thing to do is apply for an E-Visa or Entry Visa. Looks like with Entry Visa, showing a receipt of the Surrender certificate is enough but for the E-visa I need the actual certificate.

Does anyone have any recent experience with the timeline, and surrender certificate requirements for both E-Visa and/or Entry visa applications?

We are looking for an MC for a wedding in September in Etobicoke. Ideally some one that understands Indian and Muslim culture. I tried Google searching it but couldn't find much on there.

Claireport Place Banquet & Convention Centre seems to have really good reviews. People seem to like their food as well. Does anyone have any experience hosting or attending a wedding there? Anything I should keep in mind regarding the food, decor, service when hosting my own wedding there?

So I don't think we need a full fledged DJ for our wedding, just someone to manage our playlist and pause and paly the music as needed. We dont have a big budget either unfortunately.
