I got this free pair of skis off Facebook. I’m still pretty new to skiing and I’ve never really done ski repair before, so im looking for some advice. The topsheets are pretty rough, but the bases actually look solid (no core shots). My idea was to remove or sand down the remaining topsheet, seal and repaint them, then hit everything with a bunch of clear coat and get some more life out of them. Am I completely dreaming thinking this could work, or is it worth trying? Worst case they become wall skis, but I feel like it could be a fun project either way.
