Need help choosing a split AC for Bangalore (560037).

My priority is simple:

Reliability >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> features

I want something:

* Heavy duty

* Strong cooling

* Reliable compressor

* Copper condenser

* Low maintenance

* Long lasting (10+ years ideally)

* Easy servicing + spare parts availability

* Good service support

I don’t care much about WiFi/features/efficiency bills. Budget is not an issue. I just want something built properly and known for reliability from real user + technician experience.

Which one would you trust most for long-term durability, cooling performance, and least headaches?

Hey everyone, I got around 7k rank in SRMJEEE and I’ve currently been allotted ECE Core (without specialization) at KTR campus. Before paying the counselling fees, I wanted some honest opinions from seniors/students.

How is the academics in ECE at KTR?

Especially regarding:

- How much hands-on/practical experience do students actually get?

- Are labs, projects, and internships good enough for ECE students?

- Are professors supportive and approachable?

- Is there any North vs South Indian discrimination on campus or in classes?

- How tough is the competition in ECE?

- How are the placements overall for ECE core — average, lowest, highest package for core companies?

- I’m personally more interested in sitting for core ECE/electronics companies rather than tech/software companies, so are enough core companies visiting and giving decent opportunities?

- How are internship opportunities for students interested in VLSI, embedded systems, communication, etc.?

- Also, how is the hostel/campus environment overall and what’s the reality regarding ragging? Is it actually safe and friendly for freshers?

- What are the things you wish you knew before joining ECE at SRM?
