Which Voltage Stabilizer Should I Buy for My Bosch 14 place Dishwasher?

I recently purchased a 14-place setting Bosch dishwasher. Could someone please suggest a good voltage stabilizer that's suitable for it?

If you're using one with your Bosch dishwasher, I'd really appreciate your recommendations and experience.

Should I keep this 85 inch TV I ordered from Flipkart?

Hi All,

I found a good deal on this Toshiba C450NP 85 inch TV on Flipkart and got it for Rs 56k (including exchange of Rs 9k for old 32 inch TV which otherwise I was getting offers like 3-4k on Olx) so effectively can say got it for Rs 56k+4k = Rs 60k.

Currently deal price is no less than Rs 1 lac on Flipkart.

This s the one - https://dl.flipkart.com/dl/toshiba-c450np-215-cm-85-inch-qled-ultra-hd-4k-smart-google-tv-dolby-vision-atmos-regza-engine-zr/p/itm3281cac912a15?pid=TVSHFZVHRNCZKFCM&lid=LSTTVSHFZVHRNCZKFCMQWUJC2&scrollTo=VALUE\_STORE&marketplace=FLIPKART&\_refId=&\_appId=CL

It's 2024 model. Now I am a little confused if I should retain the order or cancel it. Is it a good TV as per you? Needed some suggestions.

Do BLDC fans run slower?

So I have bought Atomberg Renesa Prime (also named Enzel online)

https://atomberg.com/atomberg-renesa-prime-bldc-motor-3-blade-ceiling-fan

But somehow I feel that airflow is less than my old induction motor fans. So I was wondering whether BLDC fans run slower or has less airflow delivery?

I searched on the internet but people have mixed reviews.

I have called the company technician but I am sure he'll make some excuses and say that the fan is running properly.

Ordered Philips Air Fryer NA 130/00 6.2L for 4,800/- from Flipkart sale.

Is this a good deal ?

This is my first time ordering a kitchen appliance online so I’m quite sceptical.
Also this will be my first air fryer.
I ordered this since I felt the discount was good as compared to other Philips models. But I might be wrong.

Would you spend ₹16k repairing this 6-year-old O General AC or just replace it?

I need some advice from people who have experience with O General ACs or AC repairs.

I have an O General 1.5 Ton Split AC (Model: ASGG18CGTA) that I purchased in 2019. Honestly, it has been a troublesome AC almost from day one.

Issues I've faced

  • Cooling has always felt weak. Even when it was new, it never cooled as well as my LG 1.5T AC that I bought in 2020. The difference has always been noticeable.
  • Gas has been refilled 3 times in 6 years. This makes me suspect there's a slow refrigerant leak somewhere.
  • Last year, the PCB failed. I got it repaired through Urban Company.
  • The repaired PCB failed again within 3 months, so UC repaired it again under warranty.
  • Now, the PCB has failed yet again.

Current dilemma

A brand-new PCB replacement will cost around ₹15,000–16,000.

Considering:

  • Weak cooling since the beginning
  • Multiple refrigerant refills
  • Repeated PCB failures
  • The AC is now about 6 years old

I'm wondering whether it makes sense to spend another ₹15-16k on it.

Would you:

  1. Replace the PCB and continue using it. Also get it checked for leaks and gas refill (+2-3K) = Total 18K to fix everything.
  2. Sell the AC as-is and buy a new LG AC instead?

Has anyone had similar reliability issues with O General, or am I just unlucky with this unit?

I'd really appreciate hearing what you'd do in my situation.

Planning to buy a 16A extension board – is this a good choice?

I'm planning to buy a 16A extension board for my Bosch dishwasher. Do you have any feedback (positive /negative) on this product, or would you recommend a better alternative?

Unfortunately, I can't extend my existing 16A socket due to some unavoidable circumstances, so I've decided to use a 16A extension board instead.

Anyone using the Philips NA221/00 air fryer?

Deciding between the Philips NA221/00 and HD9252/90. NA221/00 has fewer reviews on Amazon though specs look similar/better. Anyone own the NA221/00, how's it holding up, and would you recommend it over the HD9252/90?

Wondering if I got scammed

Recently, our 7 year old Samsung washing machine broke down. This happened due to limescale issues, since we stay in an apartment where water hardness is significantly high.

We called the Samsung customer care and they sent a technician. He said the spare parts + the drum would cost 9k if purchased from Samsung. Otherwise, he said he would change only the spare parts (drum was not damaged) and he would personally get it fixed for 6k. And gave a 1 year warranty for the same.

By the time I decided between the two options, my family decided to go with the cheaper one. They got it fixed this evening even before I returned from the office, and paid him 6k.

We don't have any proof that he fixed it, except the transaction. No bills, no boxes or covers. When my family asked him if it was original, he showed a number on the spare part and said this number is present only on original samsung components.

I'm wondering if we got scammed now. Also worried because it might damage the machine sooner or later if it's a duplicate component.

O General 1.5-Ton 5star Inverter AC: Horizontal swing only goes halfway and turns back? Is this a defect?

Hey guys, looking for some advice from anyone who owns a recent O General 1.5-ton inverter AC model.

I am noticing a strange issue with the horizontal (left-to-right) swing. When I activate it, the inner louvers move from one corner but only sweep about halfway across the unit before turning around and heading back to the start. Because of this, it completely misses covering the other side of the room. It’s behaving like this since yesterday which is the day it was installed.
For context, I have a similar-tier Mitsubishi AC in another room, and the remote/swing department on that unit gives you far more detailed directional options and a full, wide sweep and that was cheaper than this ac.
Is this restricted halfway sweep normal behavior for General ACs, or is there a specific setting on the remote I'm missing? Or does this sound like a defective stepper motor/misaligned louver track that I need to raise a service complaint for?
Appreciate any insights!

Is the Kent Bathroom Water Softener Effective for Hard Water? Mainly Concerned About Hair Fall

To reduce hairfall, I am planning to buy this Kent water softener for bathing, as we have very hard water at home.

Does anyone have any positive or negative feedback about this product, or any alternative recommendations?

We will use it only for bathing, not for any other purpose. My only concern is protecting our hair from the effects of hard water.

From what I understand, a water conditioner doesn't actually remove hardness, hence planning to buy this expensive 15k-17k Water softener.

I'd appreciate any advice or experiences.

55 inch tv for parents

Hello all!

I am looking for 55 inch tv suggestions from trusted brands.
This will be for my parents who are in hometown (tier-2 city) and I live in another city due to my job.
I want them to have an amazing viewing experience and no hassle.

My budget is 1L, so please give suggestions accordingly. Can stretch it to 10-15k more if the experience increases quite a lot.

Their main usage is channels through set top box or ott viewing(hotstar, Netflix). No gaming etc.

From whatever I read..BRAVIA 2 II -S25M2 seems good.
Xr35m2 is great too.

But please give your best recommendations and suggestions.
Thank you☺️🙏🏼

Bought a brand-new Godrej AC from Reliance Digital. It failed within a month, and 27+ days later I’m still waiting for a repair.

I honestly never thought I’d be writing a post like this, but this has been one of the worst after-sales service experiences I’ve ever had.
I purchased a Godrej 1 Ton Split AC from Reliance Digital on 17 April 2026.
The installation itself was delayed until 22 April, when Reliance finally installed the unit.
Everything worked fine for just over a month.
Then the nightmare began.
Timeline
28 May: My AC suddenly started displaying an E6 error. I immediately lodged a complaint with Godrej Customer Care.
30 May: A Godrej technician visited and diagnosed the issue as a faulty PCB. However, I was informed that since the AC had been purchased from Reliance Digital, the warranty fulfilment and spare part replacement would be handled by Reliance ResQ.
Following their instructions, I raised the complaint with Reliance.
1 June: A Reliance technician visited and confirmed that the PCB required replacement.
2 June: Two Reliance ResQ technicians visited again and photographed and videographed both the indoor and outdoor units for verification.
4 June: I was assured that the replacement PCB would arrive within 7–10 working days.
6 June: I was informed that the part had been approved and was in transit.
After repeatedly following up myself (because no one ever called with updates), I was finally told that the PCB would arrive on 18 June and would be installed on 19 June.
This was already beyond the timeline they had promised.
Then came the biggest surprise.
19 June
The technician arrived.
Opened the package.
Looked at the PCB.
And said…
“This is for a 1.5 Ton AC. Your AC is 1 Ton.”
After waiting almost three weeks, Godrej had sent the wrong PCB.
The technician simply packed everything up and left because the part couldn’t be installed.
Since that day, my life has consisted of hearing the same few lines over and over:
“Sir, 2–5 more days.”
“The part is coming.”
“It’s in transit.”
“We’ll call you.”
“You’ll get an update.”
Not a single one of those assurances has been fulfilled.
As of today, it has been over 27 days since this ordeal began.
The technician no longer answers my calls.
The Reliance ResQ service team no longer answers my calls.
No proactive communication.
No ownership.
No accountability.
Just silence.
What disappoints me the most isn’t that an electronic appliance failed.
That can happen.
What is unacceptable is everything that followed.
A brand-new AC failing barely a month after installation.
Missing every promised timeline.
Sending the wrong replacement part after weeks of waiting.
Expecting the customer to chase every update.
Stopping communication altogether.
Reliance Digital and Godrej repeatedly passing responsibility while I’m left waiting.
I’ve escalated this through customer care, grievance channels and even the CEO’s office.
Most responses have been little more than automated acknowledgements or promises that never translate into action.
I’ve now filed a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH). If this issue continues unresolved, I’ll have no option but to approach the Consumer Commission with the complete timeline, service records, technician reports, emails, photographs and call logs.
I’m sharing this because I’m genuinely curious:
Has anyone here had a similar experience with Reliance Digital, Reliance ResQ or Godrej?
Did the National Consumer Helpline help resolve your issue, or did you ultimately have to approach the Consumer Commission?
Because at this point, it genuinely feels like after-sales service simply ends once the payment has been made.

TLDR:

Bought a Godrej 1 Ton AC from Reliance Digital on 17 April.
Installed on 22 April.
AC failed within about a month with an E6 error.
Godrej diagnosed a faulty PCB but redirected me to Reliance ResQ for warranty fulfilment.
Reliance promised the PCB in 7–10 working days.
Waited almost three weeks.
Technician finally arrived with the wrong PCB (1.5 Ton instead of 1 Ton).
Since then: repeated false promises, missed deadlines, and unanswered calls.
It’s now been 27+ days without a resolution.
I’ve escalated the issue to the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) and will approach the Consumer Commission if it remains unresolved.
If you’ve dealt with Reliance Digital, Reliance ResQ or Godrej after-sales service, I’d love to know how your experience turned out.

Which one Panasonic CW-XU185CGT or LG UW-Q18WUZA both 1.5 Ton 5 Star Window AC

Really confused between these two AC. I really like the look of LG but the features Panasonic is offering are good such as 8 in 1 cooling while LG has 4 in 1 cooling. Still want to know which one is better? Both have good after sales support in my locality. Just want to get the one which is much more efficient in cooling and can work without causing frequent breakdown

Buying an AC in India shouldn't require a PhD, Please Suggest 💀

Need a 1.5 ton 5-star AC that can run ~12 hours/day and survive 5–7+ years without giving up on me.

Only considering these brands:

  • Mitsubishi Heavy Industries / Mitsubishi Electric
  • O General
  • Daikin
  • Hitachi

Got burned by an LG 2020 model, high maintenance, weak and slow cooling, never again 😭 So I'm not trusting random recommendations this time.

Problem is every brand has like 10 different models with basically identical specs on paper. What should I actually be comparing? Compressor type, copper content, IDU/ODU build quality, something else?

And from the brands I listed, which one is genuinely the best for long-term reliability? Also drop any other things I should check before buying, anything that isn't obvious from spec sheets.

Request: Please answer only within these 4 brands. I know there are other good options out there, but I've already decided to stick to these for personal reasons. Suggestions for other brands won't really help me here, so I'd really appreciate it if the answers stayed focused on what I asked. Thanks for understanding 🙏

Daikin 5 year comprehensive warranty

So today after watching almost every video possible on YT I bought a Daikin FTKL 1.5 ton 3 star ac. I asked the sales executive about the claim of 5 years comprehensive warranty and was told that it covers gas refills. I live near a STP plant and due to moisture face corrosion issues every how and then. The sales executive told me that apart from spare parts the gas refill will also be covered albeit i have to have 2 services every year which will cost 750/- and i can get unlimited gas refill.

I want to ask those who have a 5 year warranty whether these claims hold any good. Also they told me to get an Anti corrosive liquid coating additionally for ₹1000 for future proofing the coils. I asked my local service guy and he told me to buy it from him at a reasonable price. Should i opt for it or do i get it done from Daikin service executives only.
