Looking to buy a 600L+ Side-by-Side Refrigerator – Samsung vs LG. Recent owner experiences?

I'm planning to buy a 600L+ side-by-side refrigerator and have mainly narrowed it down to Samsung and LG. I'm currently finding much better deals online compared to offline stores, so I'm leaning towards buying online. However, before spending ₹60k–₹1L+ on a refrigerator, I'd really like to hear from people who have actually bought and used one recently. I've been seeing quite a few complaints about Samsung refrigerators, particularly regarding cooling, electronics/PCB issues and after-sales service, but I'm not sure how representative those complaints are.

I'd love to hear your actual ownership experience, whether good or bad. How has the refrigerator been after several months of use? Any reliability or cooling issues? How has the service been if you've needed it? And if you bought it online, how was the delivery and installation experience? I'm not looking for model numbers, prices or any personal details — just your honest experience with Samsung or LG. If you recently bought a 600L+ refrigerator, would you buy the same brand again? Also open to other brands if you've had a genuinely good experience.

Hi all,

I’ll be moving to Electronic City soon for work at Bosch.

Looking for PG recommendations, preferably around Neeladri Nagar / Phase 1:

  • Double sharing under ₹10K
  • Open to single sharing if under ₹12K

Food preference: No specific Kerala-style requirement — any decent, hygienic food is fine.

I’ve heard Neeladri Nagar has good PG options — if anyone is currently staying there or has lived there, could you share recommendations or feedback?

Also open to flat-sharing if PG options aren’t great.

Thanks in advance 🙏
