Heterogenous Thyroid?
Hi everyone, I’ve been having a lot of issues the last few years with my health and it has been extremely frustrating. For the last few months I have had severe neck pain with stems from my right side and results in horrible headaches. I went for a thyroid and neck ultrasound which revealed a reactive lymph node. 2 very small thyroid nodules and what appears to be a heterogenous thyroid. My doctor was investigating me for hashimotos 18 months ago and gave up on me because my TSH was normal but my TgAb was evaluated at 48 kIU/L. So fast forward 18 months to today I have now connected this heterogenous thyroid and presence of antibodies. Has anyone else experienced this with their diagnosis? I am interested in what my doc is gonna say when I see her on Monday. Hopefully my PCP won’t give up again and test my thyroid.
