Has anyone changed the drop post for a solid post? I'm a big dude, 6'3 - 250lbs, so am a little concerned about the stiffness of the drop post.

Seems to be sold out almost everywhere, which I'm sure isn't news to folks on this sub. But, has anyone find a source for them?

Wife and I are thinking taking a trip to Mexico next summer and have multiple young kids. Are there recommendations for an all inclusive resort that's good for that?

Also, this would would be the first real vacation we've taken since having kids. So, any advice or suggestions is appreciated.

Dates: June, July, or August

Length: 3-5 days, but open to suggestion

Budget: Somewhat open, but looking to stay in the 1k to 2k per night range. Again, open to suggestions

Guests: 2 adults, multiple kids

Amenities: Good for kids is number 1 most important. Probably unrealistic, but would be cool, are accommodations that aren't effectively a hotel on the beach.
