I live in the neighborhood just not right by there

I was just offered a freelance position and I’m looking to fill childcare from roughly 12-4pm Monday to Friday. This would be starting around Aug 24, or the week after, through at least the end of November, with potential extension. Week of Sept 14 off.

We have a very sweet, active, talkative 20-month-old who loves a lot of outside time. We’re close to Central Park and have a small backyard.

Been considering ways to meet new kids and parents nearby, and I thought an informal playgroup on a weekend morning at a playground might be nice. Noticed a lot of play grounds in our immediate area are usually empty. thinking super low stakes, “show up at this time and play“ kind of thing.

Ours is 1 1/2 and is super active, struggles a bit with more structured activity. Would anyone be interested in joining or helping organize? Would be looking specifically at a play ground in the 106th and 2nd area.
