Found this morning. Love this guy!

Had nearly a 20lb bag in just 30min of being out. I love fall!!

I'm normally an agate guy, but I can't resist a good stromatolite. This one was cresting the top of a mound and looked like a fiery beacon 🔥 I love it!

My wife and I call the mostly chalcedony agates "jellies". The really small nodules are obviously jellybeans as well.

Found a few days ago. The first one has a weird pit on the bottom that pushed out through the top! Pretty neat!

The first one is like a freaking gumball.

We found way more than this, but these are the highlights!

Found today. The white one may be my new favorite. The eyed banding and the black quartz are 🤌

I knew there was something inside because of a small window, but absolutely would have not thought anything of it otherwise.

Found this big boy this morning. Just under half a pound! I know there has to be some maaaaaaad bands inside, but I think I'm gonna leave it as is. No way I'm taking a chance and potentially messing this one up.

The one on the top feels like more of a jaspagate, but the one on the bottom is throwing me for a loop. Could just be chalcedony?

I still need to get a 14kish grit+wool pad to it, but I got it down to the level I wanted. Couldn't be happier!

Found this peeler with a full nodule inside today, couldn't resist opening it up!

North Central MN

The biggest one was 9oz! Never found anything like it. Far and away our best outing. I would've been happy with any of the other big ones any other day too! Family photo at the end.

Been eyeing this place for a while and the wife and I finally got to check it out. Did not disappoint! 😁
