Looking for a compatible scale

I'm looking for a scale that is compatible with Samsung Health, ideally with Wi-Fi so I don't have to install an app or connect it via Bluetooth.

Whether it's a basic scale that just measures weight or one that tracks body composition doesn't matter, I'll evaluate the different options.

I saw that the app suggests a list of compatible accessories, but they are all outdated and impossible to find unless bought second-hand or through third-party sellers.

Which one do you use?

Galaxy Watch 9 extremely slow charging update on second complete charge

On my 40mm Wi-Fi

7:44 – 5% (fast charging started here)

8:00 – 30%

8:15 – 45% (charging slowed down here and the estimated time increased)

8:30 – 58%

8:45 – 70% ❌️ estimate missed (now +15 minutes) 9:00 – 80% (still showing 7 minutes left to 90%)

9:17 – charged to 90% (from here it shows 18 minutes to 100%)

9:40 – charged to 100%, ❌️ estimate missed

  • Initial estimate: 58 minutes from 5% to 90% (target: 8:42)
  • Actual time to 90%: 1 hour and 33 minutes (target reached at 9:17)

Everything was going great up to 55%—50% gained in 30 minutes. When the phone is warm, it charges fast, but as soon as it cools down, it slows down drastically. This is definitely an issue.

I decided to disable the battery protection feature and charge it up to 100%, which took another 24 actual minutes.

Definitely better than last time when it took 3 hours from 2% to 100% (while turned off)... but the issue persists.

Total overall time from 5% to 100%: 1 hour and 56 minutes

Nothing has changed, same charger.

How does “continuous” heart rate & stress monitoring work?

I have a Galaxy Watch 9 with Heart rate and Stress set to “Measure continuously.” However, when I check the watch, it sometimes shows the last heart rate/stress measurement from several minutes ago, even though I’ve been awake and sitting still.

The green sensor light also seems to stay on constantly.

Is this normal? How does continuous monitoring actually work on the Watch 9? Does it continuously measure in the background even if the “last measurement” timestamp isn’t updated frequently, or should both heart rate and stress be measured/updated every few minutes?

Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will feature Bluetooth 6.0

According to the report, all these connectivity features are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chip. Both the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 are expected to use Qualcomm’s new processor instead of Samsung’s Exynos W1000

This confirms that Wear Elite will be used across the entire product family.
Samsung update the SoC every two years, while the sensors and design are updated every three years.

We can expect design optimizations starting next year, with the possibility of introducing a squircle display in the following years (watch 11?). Wear OS already supports this form factor, not only circular displays

Wear Elite only for new Ultra?

Who says one thing or another, but it is not clear whether the entire new watch family will feature the same Wear Elite processor or the basic models will continue to use Exynos..

What do you think?
