It seems that growing a moustache was a very stylish thing to do in the mid to late 19th century, was there anybody famous who grew/had a moustache that made people go “I should do that”?
This is something I’ve heard a lot in recent days and weeks and I’m not sure it checks out. Who are we being protected from?
I guess Russia but they’d have to attack and run supply lines across the arctic circle and that frankly seems unlikely. I love history so if anyone could inform me about any blind spots I’ve got that’d be much appreciated.
