Contemplating RingConn Gen 3 / Warranty Questions
Hi! I’ve been a long time FitBit user and I’m contemplating switching to a smart ring; mainly think that a ring would look more sleek and professional than a digital watch. I’m drawn to RingConn because of the lack of monthly subscription fee to get my health data compared to other smart rings, and I saw that the newest generation just launched pre-sale.
After doing some research around RingConn and the existing older generation rings, I’ve seen multiple troubling comments surrounding diminished battery life and potential “death” of the ring. I saw that I can purchase a 2 or 3 year warranty, but I’m not certain it’s worth it to buy and whether battery defects even fall under the warranty policy.
For existing customers (or anyone really) who is familiar with the company and these issues / has had experience with the smart ring battery and warranty processing, could you please share more insight. Thanks!
