Has any of the ones who received the PP refund on 7/30 refiled for PP and repaid the fees? I know the status says that the refund does not affect the processing but just wondering if anyone’s lawyer has stated it would be a possibility to repay and restart the clock.
Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out if this is a glitch. I checked my H1B case status today (multiple times as I do everyday) and it suddenly says approved BUT the date says it was approved in early June… so I’m confused if this is real or a glitch?
For context, I had zero updates on my case after PP filed 04/2026 until yesterday where it said PP fees were being refunded. Today my congressman’s office finally got a response after their inquiry to the USCIS about my case and their response was the generic response “we are conducting further review of this case and there’s no timeline” and I randomly just checked my case status on the USCIS website right after that and it says approved.
Anyone else have something similar?

Hi everyone! I was hoping to see if anyone had any guidance on the path of trying to move back to Canada for a US trained anesthesiologist. Back story- I am Canadian, did my Anesthesiology/Peds Anesthesiology training in the US and have been working as an attending in the US for the last 6 years now. Preferably, I’d like to move back to the GTA region where my family is. Any advice on the process of licensing/jobs would be very appreciated!
Hi everyone. I carry a Canadian passport. I have been waiting for my H1B visa to be processed but it is taking much longer than anticipated. I was born in a banned country. Does anyone know if I may enter the US as a visitor (as Canadians normally do) while my H1B transfer is pending?
Has anyone from a banned country gotten any updates about their H1B? My receipt date is 4/30, PP clock started 5/3 and still no updates. I’m Canadian but born in a banned country. No RFEs. Contacted USCIS and got the generic response that they are conducting further review but still nothing.
Hi! I know this has been asked a million times. I filed for H1B with PP, received date was April 30, last update is “as of may 5th we are still processing and don’t require anything from you”. Still have not heard anything. I am a medical physician born in a banned country but a Canadian citizen. Is anyone in a similar situation/seen any progress?
