I have done everything you could think of and still nothing. Been on LOA since Feb… filed WoM 07/20 with court waiver, waiting on judge to approved the waiver before summons can be serve.

In the meantime I too did the email to USCIS with my court case # / Jude’s name etc on 07/22, ended up getting an automatic response within secs

At this point I’m taking all the help I could get.

I spoke to a USCIS again today and asked about the status of my case and if there’s anything else I can do. Like many of you, I’ve been waiting over 150 days. Surprisingly, the agent was very empathetic and acknowledged that my case is past normal processing times.

Since I’m not eligible to submit an inquiry until July 27, she offered to submit an expedite request for me. We also talked about the delays, and I asked if it would be possible to redo my biometrics. She said no because mine have already been captured, and unfortunately all I can do is continue waiting. She mentioned that officers are still working through November applications.

I then told her why I was asking. I said that I’ve been hearing from others that USCIS may have implemented enhanced security measures with the FBI, and that applications submitted before April seem to be on hold because they may need to be reprocessed through a new FBI database. At the same time, many DACA renewals submitted after April appear to be getting approved much faster, some in as little as a month.

She asked where I heard this and whether it was from USCIS website or through a Facebook group. I said yes, through Facebook (as didn’t want to say Reddit or anything else), and explained that within our community we share timelines and experiences to help each other understand what’s going on.

That’s how many of us noticed that USCIS seems to be processing newer applications while people who applied before April are still waiting without any updates. (Mine has not had any API movement since March 13)

She seemed genuinely surprised and said she was going to pass this information along to higher-ups. She also said she didn’t know if it would make any difference in speeding up older applications, but she wanted to make them aware of what people are experiencing with cases submitted before April.

I don’t know if she actually passed the information along, but I’m not gonna lie, it felt good to have someone actually listen and seem genuinely concerned and willing to help.

I think we should all continue calling and putting pressure on them by asking questions and bringing attention to these delays. If enough people keep reaching out, it becomes harder to ignore the number of people who are still waiting. Ps. I don’t have any social media besides this. So I doubt they will find Facebook group with me. 🤣
