This has been my fastest approval to date I am in Texas my lawyer told me to renew 7 months ahead since it been super slow, I didn’t have the full money to pay him so I did it online for the first time on my own.

Just saw on My case hub there is some cases from DECEMBER they approved 😭😭😭 there is still people out there waiting FROM DECEMBER ! &&& all the other months & like 3-4 January approved only… That makes me lose absolutely all hope … I’m from January 23 and I feel like at this rate I will hit year before approval .. LIKE WHY CAN THEY NOT GO IN ORDER !!! IT MAKES ME SOOOO ANGRYYYYYY!!! There is people waiting 8-9 MONTHS ! Why are people who are waiting LESS THAN A MONTH GETTING APPROVED !!! I’ve been having crash out after crash out 😭😭😭
I can’t believe it’s finally my turn to post this!! There were times when I thought my approval wouldn’t never come but it finally did !🥹🥺. My prayers and positive vibes go out to everyone that is still waiting. I know this was a difficult season for me and others have waited longer than me, so my heart goes out to everyone still waiting!
My timeline:
03/23/2026: Submitted my DACA renewal online.
04/24/2026: Completed biometrics.
06/05/2026: Contacted USCIS and was told my case was still within normal processing times.
07/13/2026: Submitted a service request for being outside normal processing times through phone.
07/21/2026: Submitted an inbox message through the USCIS online portal regarding not receiving a decision notice.
07/27/2026: Sent USCIS the Pre-Demand letter by certified mail an email
08/05/2026: Submitted congressional inquiry.
08/10/2026- Submitted online expedited request on work permit.
08/21/2026: My EAD expired. This was also my last day of work, as I could no longer continue working without valid employment authorization.
08/24/2026: Submitted a request to the CIS Ombudsman.
09/08/2026: Finally saw the first API movement since biometrics.
09/11/2026: Submitted an expedite request by phone on my I-821D.
09/14/2026: Both expedite requests denied. Also received a response to my portal inbox of decision not rendered stating that my case was still undergoing required review
09/15/2026: Filed a pro se writ of mandamus at the courts.
9/23/2026: Congressional inquiry was responded to by USCIS saying “case continues to maintain its placement in a processing queue where additional vetting of the case will be completed, no estimated time of approval.”
09/28/2026: The last defendant was served for my WoM
9/29/2026: Return the proof of service back to the courts.
10/01/2026: APPROVED at 4:10pm!! 🎉

192 days from filing to approval!
I tried everything I could think of: calling USCIS, submitting service requests, chatting with agents online, sending an inbox message through my USCIS portal, requesting expedited processing, contacting my congressman's office, submitting an Ombudsman request, the pre demand letter and the WoM. I truthfully don’t know if the WoM was what worked but I had to do it because I saw people waiting for 200 plus days and it broke my heart.

I got my new ead good until 07/09/28
And a few days ago I got a notification saying “We have taken an action on your case”
And today I got a new EAD and this one is good until 09/22/28
This happen to anyone?
