Anyone else here feel like they were targeted with some kind of beam?

So, about 6 years ago, I suddenly developed what was eventually diagnosed as chronic fatigue syndrome. But the onset was one of those events that I remember very well. I was walking through my house, interacting with my kids, and I suddenly felt like my brain was hit on the left side with some sort of beam. It dropped me to the floor and everything just shut down. I couldn't get up, couldn't talk, for awhile. Truly a bizarre experience in it's own right. I stayed in bed, in the dark, with ear muffs for a few days before I was able to get up and do things again. Then began the process of learning that I had a permanently broken battery (think super long recharge time). I'm now considered within the mid range of CFS, but there was a good 4 months where I was completely bed bound and didn't know if I'd ever be okay again. My immune system is totally out of whack and I feel like I've lost a lot of brain function. These are definitely part of the medical diagnosis, but why I have it at all is a standing question. I've never heard anyone describe their onset like mine in any cfs forum.

Anyway, long story shorter, I'm a lifelong experiencer (something I forgot about until a couple years ago). I'm wondering if any of you all have similar experiences? It may be a completely irrelevant connection, but I only recently thought to ask. I generally find the community on here to be fairly open and supportive.
