Hi all! I am coming to Charleston for a conference 7/20-7/24. I am looking for recs to spend my time after the conference, like places to eat, etc. I won’t have time to go to New River Gorge (unfortunately), but just looking for things to do around the city and places to eat! I’ll be staying at the Marriott in the town center and will not have a car (but will uber wherever).

I like trying new and unique foods (generally any food that’s delicious), breweries/beer, anything paranormal, hiking/walks, cute and cozy coffee shops, LGBT+ things, etc.

I look forward to being in your city! I actually passed through once a long time ago and it was very pretty!

Hey there. I have a concert tonight at the Marquis that should end around 10:45/11 pm. I never really ever go down there, but will want to eat after with my friends from out of town. Any food recs for a late night meal within walking distance or a short drive?

Doesn’t have to be the best meal I’ve ever had.
