Like the tittle said, the competitor that have their own model that offers different chat styles and a good memory.

That also means the competitor has to have access to same amount of funding Character.ai have from their investors

That way they'll either have to roll back many of the unnecessary updates and actually listen to their users or risk getting quickly stomped by that new competitor.

As we know they currently rolling out new updates like lorebooks etc and because of that they have to remove the old model because they arent compatible with the new updates

what if after all the planned updates are finished they'll just return the old models after doing some modification so it'll be compatible with they updates

Just something that come to mind while working

With the app gone to shit People who is heavily addicted to this app (me included) now have stronger reasons to quit and seek preferably better use of their free time like reading a book or take a long walk in the afternoon.
