Gym Insurance

Hi Everyone,

My husband and I own 24/7 membership gyms that also offer personal training. Who do you all use for insurance? Do you recommend using an agent or getting insurance independently directly through the carrier? We are paying about $1,000.00 monthly right now using an agent.

Thanks in advance!

Gym Software and Payment Processor

Hi All,

We own four 24/7 gyms and gross about $60k/month just from memberships. We use Gym Master (member portal) and Stripe (payment processor) only because when we purchased one of our gyms that was who they had used. To be honest, I have zero complaints when it comes to Gym Master, I think their customer support is second-to-none and find their software overall very user friendly. I am a little frustrated with Stripe. I feel that their fees (2.9% + .30 per transaction) are on the higher end and the customer service is sub-par. The other payment processors we are able to use with Gym Master are Bluefin, Fiserv, Square, and Worldpay. I am looking for any and all input on any of the other payment processors so I can decide if it's worth switching from Stripe or not.

Thanks in advance!

American Specialty Health

First time poster here so I apologize if this has been asked before. We were approached by a Rep from American Specialty Health asking to promote us for their Active and Fit and Silver and Fit programs. In short, they pay (via reimbursement) us each time a member visits, capped at a certain amount and promote us as one of their "partner" gyms. It seems like a nice program with not a lot of extra hassle for decent money but I wanted to check to see what others have had for experiences (good and bad would be appreciated!) working them. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
