I’m gonna be a freshman this fall and I’m aware of VCU’s no-car rule (which is kinda stupid imo), but it would be really inconvenient for me to take public transport or ask or rides whenever I wanna go home. I live in NC currently and it’s a lot simpler to just drive to and from campus with my car, but I’m not sure what to do since that rule is in place.

Is there any way I can get around it? I don’t wanna be paying insurance and whatnot for my car just for it to be sitting at home 300 miles away :/
