Need help for server optimisation
I'm not sure if this is the right sub to ask for help on optimising my mod packs but oh well.
I running a server about 6ish people but I know that probably not everyone will have a good PC like I do so is there anything I should take out or anything I should add so it runs smoother without lagging?
(looking to also make videos so I don't want the server to lag which causes the recordings in OBS to also stutter)
for extra details on what I'm envisioning: I'm running a small server with friends using the essential mod but I know that it uses your device to host it meaning if too many people are sending data at the same time because too many mod packs are running then it will put strain on your devices RAM and I don't want my videos to stutter so is there any mods I should remove or add to make it more smooth? The mods that are locked in and I won't remove are the Roundabout mod, Jade, Apotheosis, Moog's Structures (all 3 and the library), Enhanced AI, and Simple Voice Chat.
But I do want the server to last a long time by having things to do so that's why I add the cataclysm mod but I do know it does have alot of content so maybe I should change that for another boss fighting mod (if you have any recommendation on a more light weight but still good boss mod then leave it down in the comments).
I do know that William Wyther's Overhauled Overworld and Subterranean Wilderness Revival does take alot of data to process both at the same time so maybe I should take out Subterranean Wilderness Revival to make the strain lighter?
