I had a really uncomfortable experience at a local restaurant. The place was oddly empty, the food was mediocre for the prices, and honestly I would’ve just moved on and simply not gone back as service was decent. But after I left, the tip amount on my credit card was changed from what I wrote on the receipt.
I tried calling multiple times and the number asks you to leave a message but then doesn’t allow you to, and when I went back in person no one was able to help resolve it. I’m not someone who normally posts negative reviews, but the whole experience felt strange. Just wanted others to be aware and double check their charges.
I honestly never check my charges and the only reason I even caught this tip change was because my credit card flagged it and reached out to see if I had left over a %50 tip.
