2025 CPO Macan - still at dealer with no end in sight

I posted this about 11 days ago about my Macan purchased a month ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/PorscheMacan/s/WmDTScx9U4

More of a rant now but curious about everyone’s thoughts about this. Basically, a strange noise while at low RPMs developed right after I purchased. The dealer noted the noise and asked me to bring it back for further diagnosis. Took it in 11 days ago and I still don’t have any idea what’s going on. The dealer opened a ticket with Porsche five days ago and were advised to replace the front windshield sealer to further isolate the noise. OK, good parts ordered. But what’s really frustrating is they’ve had my car for two weeks and absolutely no idea when I’m gonna get it back. I’m starting to feel like I bought a lemon.

Service advisor has been communicative and helpful but I let her know I might want to exchange for another preowned if this persists. But then my sales person calls me and says well we can’t do a buyback…we’d need do a creative exchange if it comes to that. I get it but I’m like…I’ve had the car for 30 days and it’s been in service for 14 of them with no one in sight. No way would I want to lose money on this - that’s not right. I guess if I was a high roller with a 911 GT3 it would be different.

Should I just shut up and be patient? Is this a common thing with CPO Porsches? Ugh.

Hello Macon redditors. I bought a CPO 2025 base Macan with 15k miles from my local Porsche dealer a little over three weeks ago. Almost immediately I noticed a weird sound when in gear from about 1000 RPM to 1500 RPM. Very low but noticeable - sounded like a cricket. A little surprised this wasn’t caught with the CPO inspection, but whatever. The car drove fine, and the dealer put two new tires on it two weeks ago so I had them check it out. The tech verified he could hear the sound but would need further diagnosis. I took the car in this Wednesday for that diagnosis and later that day, the service tech called and said they were trying to identify it and had to remove the dash. 24 hours later no change; still trying to find the issue. They did give me a loaner at least. So now today they call again and say the tech was out until Monday and they hope to have an update then.

To be clear - not disappointed in the service as they’ve called several times with updates and have been real open about what is going on. My issue is I just purchased this car three weeks ago and it has already been in the shop for four days including the tire replacement. Everything is covered under warranty, but this is not giving me a lot of confidence. Has anybody experienced these types of issues? What did you do? I’m past the seven day return period but it being Porsche I’m thinking about pushing for an exchange for another model. Any shared experience or insight is appreciated.
